Unarmed Woman Murdered in the District of Criminals

Just yesterday I was remarking on the killing of Miriam Carey by the Washington, District of Criminals Police.  Ms. Carey had no weapons in her possession.  What made her dangerous was her driving.  In more civilized cities, police drive the car off the road or box it in.  In the District of Criminals, the lives of two-legged slugs such as Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are considered so valuable that the extraordinary measure of state execution is justified.  Tyranny has not only reared its head, it was broadcast on every TV station, printed in every newspaper, and splashed across the world wide web.  Like a good lapdog, the media laps at the bowl provided by its Obo-master and expels the flatulence it calls news.  How sickening.

Sign the Petition to Give Obama's Nobel Peace Prize to Putin

Putin kept us out of a war in Syria, has called for defending the Christians in Syria, and opposes the terrorist rebels in Syria.  Obama wants us to go to war in Syria, has done absolutely nothing to defend oppressed Christians in the Middle East and North Africa, and has supported Islamist rebels not only in Syria, but in Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt.  Which one really deserves the Nobel Peace Prize?  My vote is for Vladimir Putin.

James Woods nails Queen Hussein

Gotta love James Woods. On Twitter yesterday he zinged President B. Hussein Obama over the "I could have been Trayvon" speech.

Some Wooden gems:  "Does the President of the United States have any advice for other teenage boys in America?" and "ALL youth of every heritage in this country would benefit from jobs and manageable student loans, NOT a bloated Welfare State."

And the winner:  "The only reason people lock their car doors when Obama walks by is they are afraid he'll tax them to death..."

Damn You, Ransom E. Olds!  And damn your interchangeable automobile parts giving rise to the modern automobile industry and mass production of death machines.

A person is three times more likely to be killed by an automobile than by a gun.  It's high time to ban the automobile.

The U.S. homicide rate was 4.7 per 100,000 persons in 2011.  That would be 14,570 homicides in a population of 310,000,000.  67.5% of homicides were by gun.  That is 9,835 homicides by gun.

The number of automobile deaths in 2011 was 32,367 in the U.S.  Over three times the amount of gun homicides.

Put another way, the number of automobiles in the U.S. is somewhere around 255,000,000.  With 32,367 deaths, that would mean that 0.0127 percent of automobiles are involved in a death in 2011.  A very small percentage.

With 300,000,000 guns in the U.S., we have 9,835 gun homicides.  That is 0.00328% of firearms involved in a homicide in 2011, about one-fourth the rate for automobiles.  A very, very small amount.

The rate may be even less due to an error of methodology which favors the automobile:  Most gun homicides are of a single person.  Automobile fatalities where one automobile collision results in multiple fatalities are common. 

The bottom line:  Chuckie Schumer, Diane Fineswine, Mayor Boob-berg, the Manchurian Hawaiian, and others of the anti-gun ilk are missing the boat.  If they really wanted to save lives, they would get straightaway to banning the automobile.

Sadly, Chuckie, Ms. Fineswine, Boob-berg, the Kenyan-in-chief, and other collectivist totalitarians are more interested in consolidating political power and subjugating the citizenry than in saving lives.

That also explains the burgeoning business in government contracts to supply black pajamas and large amounts of ammunition.

On the Road Again, or, The Best Justice Having a Famous Nephew Can Buy

Uncle Obama is on the road, again.  Onyango Obama, uncle to President Barack Hussein Obama, has been granted a hardship driver's license by the State of Massachusetts after numerous arrests and convictions for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Indeed, his last arrest was for a blood alcohol level of 0.14, nearly double the legal limit in Massachusetts and most states.

Illegal immigrant Obama, 67, appealed for the limited driver's license because, he claimed, he would not be able to make it to work as a liquor store manager without one.  I don't know about Massachusetts, but here in the People's Republic of the Other Washington (PROW), obtaining a "hardship" license during a period of mandatory license suspension is very difficult.  An applicant must demonstrate a verifiable hardship in which the ONLY remedy would be the granting of a provisional driver's license only for driving to and from work.

The state of Massachusetts must be a terribly screwed up place these days, as I can readily spot a number of reasons why Mr. Obama would have problems in PROW.  First, working in a liquor store, even under the newly created private liquor stores in PROW, is a licensed activity.  Being in the country illegally would disqualify him from being licensed (but would qualify him for a job with Governor "Tapeworm" Gregoire).  Second, being convicted of a driving under the influence offense would at the least result in a suspension of his license and disqualify him from being licensed or having his license renewed.  And third, he likely would not be getting a provisional license if he did not have a job, could walk to work, could ride the bus to work, or even if the cost of a taxi did not create a hardship.

As Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson said, "When we start to interpret these laws differently and manipulate them the way we want them to work for certain people, we start to send a mixed message to people that the law doesn’t really matter."

In other words, Uncle Obama received the best justice that having a famous nephew can buy.
