Merry Christmas, Everyone!!!

I hope that everyone enjoys this special day and has time to reflect on all the blessings that the Lord has given us.
These are trying times, but I am thankful that I have my family, my friends, my health, and that I am still employed.  And for the time being I still have my liberty.  Those are all the things I truly need.
Have a blessed Christmas.

GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

For those who have not done so already:  GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

Now is not the time to be choosy because the perfect candidate is not on the ballot.  A flawed, but acceptable candidate who will protect our civil rights is on the ballot:  Mitt Romney. GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

Now is not the time to think that your vote does not matter.  It does.  Help stop the Obamanization of America.  GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

It is not inevitable that either Obama or Romney will win.  Put your support where it counts:  Mitt Romney.  GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

If you want the economy to have a chance of improving and for jobs to be created, support Mitt Romney.  GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

If you want to retire the "Gun Salesman of the Year" and be able to keep the guns you have:  GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

There are lots more reasons to defeat Obama.  But you must GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

And for those of you who are conservative and/or libertarian but don't like Mitt Romney for some reason or another, please think very carefully about what your vote means.  I like to vote on principle, too, but I am not going to help Obama stay in office by throwing my vote to Gary Johnson or another fringe candidate.  (Yes, Johnson is a fringe candidate.  Get over it.)  Nevertheless, GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

In my humble opinion, if you don't vote, you can't complain.

And last, if you are an Obamoron, please stay home and yak on your Obamaphone.

Thoughts on the Vice Presidential Debate

I did not comment on the Presidential debate last week because it was so apparent that Obama lost, even with moderator Lehrer attempting to throw Obama a lifeline.  Seemed unfair to pile on.

I just finished watching the Vice Presidential Debate.  My observations:

1)   Joe Biden understands the theory of convincing lies.  Have an element of truth and feel free to lie thereafter with a straight face.

2)   When someone says, "Here's the facts..." he is lying.  Joe lied and lied and lied.  Lied about Obamacare, lied about the Obama position on Israel (repeatedly), lied about Medicare cuts, lied about foreign policy with regard to "Arab Spring", lied about sanctions on Iran, lied about job creation.....

3)   Paul Ryan failed to reframe a lot of essential questions.  It is not the "Bush tax cuts" for anyone after the tax policy has been the law of the land this long.  Ryan should have labelled it the "Obama tax increases on job creators".  Ryan should have pressed Biden on the Obama deficits, the Obama job losses, the Obama boondoggles (Solyndra, selling Chrysler to Fiat, Government Motors, etc, etc, etc), his disrespect to Israel, support for Islamist regimes worse than the ones they replaced (Mubarak, Ben Ali), assisting in deposing Syrian President in favor of Islamists.  I could go on and on and on.

4)   Martha was the most biased moderator I have seen in the 20+ years I have been following debates.  She repeatedly cut Ryan off to allow Biden to interrupt, and never stopped Biden from interrupting.

5)   Ryan failed to tell Joe Biden to shut up and wait his turn.  Biden's rude conduct was unPresidential.

6)  Biden may be a moron, but he is the best pathological liar I have ever seen.  Obama could actually learn from Sheriff Joe.

For those ignorant of the actual facts, it looks like Sheriff Joe won the debate.  For anyone familiar with the Obama/Biden record, Joe blithely lied his way through the debate.

UPDATE:  I'm not the only one who noticed how much Biden was lying:  http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/11/Joe-Biden-Lie-Detector

Also, polls are generally showing Ryan as the winner, despite Biden's petulant outbursts:  http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/11/CNBC-Poll-Ryan-Crushes-Biden-56-36 and http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/11/cnn-poll-on-debate-winner-ryan-48-biden-44/ both from left of center outlets, CNBC and CNN.

Best Reason to Vote Against Obama: Madonna Will Get Naked If He Wins

“When Obama is in the White House for a second term I'll take it all off,” Madonna, age 54, said to cheers and whistles from the concert audience, after she took off her shirt and pulled down her pants to show she had “OBAMA” written in all capital letters across her lower back.

Story here.

Madonna was arguably hot once, circa 1984 when I was 16 years old. Now she is just old and gross. I pity the fools who would actually trade their vote for seeing AARP-eligible Madonna naked.  The sight of that might be enough to make me join Man's Country, Barack Obama's gay Chicago bath house.

This is the best reason yet I can think of to vote against Obama.  It could easily be topped by Roseanne Barr or Rosie O'Donnell making such a threat, but for now Madonna's threat is gross enough.

Latest Threat from Muslim Brotherhood

This morning the Muslim Brotherhood sent a warning that if the United States continued meddling in Egypt, Libya, and other potential hot Spots in the Middle East, they intend to cut off America 's supply of 7-11 and Motel 6 managers.

If this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Dell, AT&T and AOL customer service reps.

Finally, if all else fails, they have threatened not to send us any more Presidents either.

It's gonna get ugly people. . .

OBVIOUSLY THIS IS A JOKE!!!!  Thanks to my friend G**** for sending this to me.

No. 1 Reason I am Voting Republican Nov. 6

The number one reason I am voting Republican in the November 6, 2012 election has to do with the political parties' national platforms on the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

The Republicans:

We uphold the right of individuals to keep and bear arms, a right which antedated the Constitution and was solemnly confirmed by the Second Amendment. We acknowledge, support, and defend the law-abiding citizen’s God-given right of self-defense. We call for the protection of such fundamental individual rights recognized in the Supreme Court’s decisions in District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago affirming that right, and we recognize the individual responsibility to safely use and store firearms. This also includes the right to obtain and store ammunition without registration. We support the fundamental right to self-defense wherever a law-abiding citizen has a legal right to be, and we support federal legislation that would expand the exercise of that right by allowing those with state-issued carry permits to carry firearms in any state that issues such permits to its own residents. Gun ownership is responsible citizenship, enabling Americans to defend their homes and communities. We condemn frivolous lawsuits against gun manufacturers and oppose federal licensing or registration of law-abiding gun owners. We oppose legislation that is intended to restrict our Second Amendment rights by limiting the capacity of clips or magazines or otherwise restoring the ill-considered Clinton gun ban. We condemn the reckless actions associated with the operation known as “Fast and Furious,” conducted by the Department of Justice, which resulted in the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol Agent and others on both sides of the border. We applaud the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives in holding the current Administration’s Attorney General in contempt of Congress for his refusal to cooperate with their investigation into that debacle. We oppose the improper collection of firearms sales information in the four southern border states, which was imposed without congressional authority.

The Democrats:

We believe that the right to own firearms is subject to reasonable regulation. We understand the terrible consequences of gun violence; it serves as a reminder that life is fragile, and our time here is limited and precious.  We can focus on effective enforcement of existing laws, especially strengthening our background check system, and we can work together to enact commonsense improvements – like reinstating the assault weapons ban and closing the gun show loophole – so that guns do not fall into the hands of those irresponsible, law-breaking few.

(As an aside, I find it ironic that the Democrats cite the fragility of life and the limited and precious nature of our time on this mortal plane as considerations in curtailing God-given rights, then abandon those considerations in favor of murder of the unborn children on demand.)

There you have it.  The needs of the collective.  The touchy-feely illogic of the majority giving up rights to control those "irresponsibile, law-breaking few".   The "commonsense" surrender of our rights.

I'm not going for it.  Although I think that Mitt Romney is not a good conservative and is far from being a Libertarian, he is not a collectivist, anti-Constitutionalist, personality cultist, pseudo-savior, unvetted Manchurian candidate.   He will be getting my vote on November 6, 2012.

Hat tip to Kurt Hofmann at The Examiner for the information on the parties' platforms.

MC 'Bama Raps "You Didn't Build That". Insanely hilarious Obama rapping.

For anybody who does not read Mac Slavo's SHTFPlan every day, here is today's post of the MC 'Bama rap video.  It is Obama "rapping" in his own words, "You Didn't Build That."  Absolutely hilarious.  This should be a campaign video for Romney.

Here's the link to the SHTFPlan post which includes the video.

Sen. Scott Brown, please STFU! & Hang In There, Todd Akin!

Sen. Scott Brown needs to shut the f**k up.  Or at least put his energies into defeating the fake Indian* running against him for the Massachusetts senate seat.

So, Todd Akin, running on the Republican ticket for senator from Missouri against Democrat Claire McCaskill, inartfully stated that he is concerned about a life that is created from a woman being raped.  That's what I got out of Akin's poor choice of words, certainly not as bad as "Sheriff Joe" Biden telling black folks that Romney wants to put them back in chains.

Akin never said that he supported rape or rapists.  He fudged on the issue of aborting a human life created from the crime of rape.  Not an easy question to answer.  If one is truly pro-life, then a life created from rape is still a viable and valuable human life.  No woman is denigrated, nor is the crime of rape tolerated, when a human life is exonerated from death by abortion following a rape.

Senator Brown has called on Todd Akin to resign the Republican nomination for U.S. Senator from Missouri.  Senator Brown should be ashamed of himself for pandering to the left rather than coming to the defense of a conservative on the issue of human life, a conservative who is sorely needed to take back control of the U.S. Senate from the anti-life, anti-producer Democratic Party.

Senator Brown should resign the Republican nomination for U.S. Senator from Massachusetts.  I would rather have fake Indian*, genuine Democrat Elizabeth Warren win than have another fake Republican (RINO) like Scott Brown.

I have similar reservations about Mitt Romney, but am willing to give him a little more leeway because we absolutely need to show Barack Obama the door on November 6, 2012.  Still, Mitt should also be ashamed of himself for attacking Todd Akin.

*I have 1,000,000 times more Cherokee ancestry than Elizabeth Warren, so I feel comfortable in referring to her as a fake Indian.

Why I Don't Use Google Shopping

Google Shopping, like eBay, has gone down the PC road of removing gun-related merchandise from the shopping experience.  Actually, Google Shopping's new rules for product placement make eBay look like a sporting goods warehouse.  A lot of gun-related items are still available on eBay.

Ever since Google revised its privacy policy earlier this year, I refuse to use them as a search engine and have added their shopping service to my "do not use list."

For a quick and easy example of why I will not use Google Shopping, try the following.

1)  Go to Google.com;
2)  Click on the tab "More", then click on "Shopping";
3)  Type "Ammunition" in the search box and hit "Enter";
4)  See result;
5)  Next, type "gay sex toys" in the search box and hit "Enter".
6)  Case closed.

Yahoo Search and Yahoo Shopping seem to be a lot more gun-neutral, in my opinion.

EyeWitless News: 65% Believe Obama Better Able to Handle Alien Invasion

Once again, the lamestream media have found yet another way to prop up their savior, Obama.

A survey found that 65% of Americans believe that Obama would "be better suited to handle a theoretical alien invasion than Romney".  Story here.

I am surprised that the vote was not 100%.  I personally believe that Obama would be better at dealing with aliens because he is one.  Well, an illegal alien, but still an alien.

Teacher Tells the Truth: Kids, You're Not Special

About damn time!  Although I never thought this would happen in Massachusetts.

Teacher David McCullough, Jr. told a high school graduating class that they are not.......special.  They are not.......exceptional.  That they have been coddled and cajoled and counseled and encouraged by adults, and that these young adults will need to realize that nobody else cares how special they think they are.

Wow!  This is a long overdue message to the young people of this country, who are largely a bunch of self-absorbed brats.

WARNING!  RANT FOLLOWS!

When I graduated from high school over twenty-five years ago, I was under no illusion that I was remarkable in any way, and was quite nervous about the future because I knew that I would be facing competition out in the real world.  (I actually went straight to college, but college was different in 1986.  We were actually expected to learn and demonstrate the level of our learning).  My high school friends and I ventured out on our own, some of us told by parents that we were welcome to visit our old home but not to camp out there.

I look at the young adults I see today and I think to myself, "These punks will never survive the Zombie Apocalypse or any other major change to civilization."  Many have no skills aside from being able to access their Facebook or Myspace account, send texts, or rapidly tap their thumbs on the controller of the latest video game system.

I have personally known 18 to 26 year old young persons who were openly disrespectful of their parents and grandparents, yet could not consistently support themselves and expected their parents and grandparents to provide for them.  These young persons could not hold even the most basic, fast-food, minimum-wage job for more than a few months without major problems, could not consistently maintain a residence, and could not maintain an automobile or insurance.  Yet they were always able to "party", buy alcoholic and "energy" drinks, cigarettes, drugs, and the latest cell phone.  They just can't afford to feed themselves, buy clothes or wash them, or figure out how to get back to their own home at the end of the day.

Either I am joining the ranks of the old people I used to complain about in my youth, or the youth of today are the opposite of what their parents, teachers, and other adults are telling them:  special and worthy of excess insulation from the realities of the world.  At 44, I don't think I am that old.  And I didn't just start noticing how today's youth behaves.

Oh, I could go on and on about how today's young people have no idea what hardship and responsibility are (I actually haven't experienced real hardship myself, although I prepare for it), but I think I'll stop here.  Go read the article about David McCullough, Jr.'s speech to his 2012 high school graduating class.  If you are over 30, you'll be glad you did.

Little Johnny Explains Obamarketing

The kids filed into class Monday morning. They were all very excited.
Their weekend assignment was to sell something, then give a talk on salesmanship.
Little Sally led off. "I sold Girl Scout cookies and I made $30" she said proudly, "My sales approach was to appeal to the customer's civil spirit and I credit that approach for my obvious success."
"Very good", said the teacher.
Little Debbie was next. "I sold magazines" she said, "I made $45 and I explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events."
"Very good, Debbie", said the teacher.
Eventually, it was Little Johnny's turn. The teacher held her breath. Little Johnny walked to the front of the classroom and dumped a box full of cash on the teacher's desk. "$2,467", he said.
"$2,467!" cried the teacher, "What in the world were you selling?"
Toothbrushes", said Little Johnny. "Toothbrushes", echoed the teacher, "How could you possibly sell enough tooth brushes to make that much money?"
"I found the busiest corner in town", said Little Johnny, "I set up a Dip & Chip stand and I gave everybody who walked by a free sample."
They all said the same thing, "Hey, this tastes like dog poop!" Then I would say, "It is dog poop. Wanna buy a toothbrush? I used the President Obama method of giving you some crap, dressing it up so it looks good, telling you it's free and then making you pay to get the bad taste out of your mouth."
Little Johnny got five stars for his assignment. Bless his heart.

Manchurian President Ignores D-Day Anniversary....for 3rd year in a row.

Foreign-born, America-hating, military-despising President Barack Hussein Obama II once again (as he did in 2010 and 2011) has no plans for the 68th anniversary of D-Day.  He did commemorate the 65th anniversary in 2009, but I believe he probably just read what appeared on his TelePrompter and had no idea where he was or why he was there.

Story here.

On the Road Again, or, The Best Justice Having a Famous Nephew Can Buy

Uncle Obama is on the road, again.  Onyango Obama, uncle to President Barack Hussein Obama, has been granted a hardship driver's license by the State of Massachusetts after numerous arrests and convictions for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Indeed, his last arrest was for a blood alcohol level of 0.14, nearly double the legal limit in Massachusetts and most states.

Illegal immigrant Obama, 67, appealed for the limited driver's license because, he claimed, he would not be able to make it to work as a liquor store manager without one.  I don't know about Massachusetts, but here in the People's Republic of the Other Washington (PROW), obtaining a "hardship" license during a period of mandatory license suspension is very difficult.  An applicant must demonstrate a verifiable hardship in which the ONLY remedy would be the granting of a provisional driver's license only for driving to and from work.

The state of Massachusetts must be a terribly screwed up place these days, as I can readily spot a number of reasons why Mr. Obama would have problems in PROW.  First, working in a liquor store, even under the newly created private liquor stores in PROW, is a licensed activity.  Being in the country illegally would disqualify him from being licensed (but would qualify him for a job with Governor "Tapeworm" Gregoire).  Second, being convicted of a driving under the influence offense would at the least result in a suspension of his license and disqualify him from being licensed or having his license renewed.  And third, he likely would not be getting a provisional license if he did not have a job, could walk to work, could ride the bus to work, or even if the cost of a taxi did not create a hardship.

As Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson said, "When we start to interpret these laws differently and manipulate them the way we want them to work for certain people, we start to send a mixed message to people that the law doesn’t really matter."

In other words, Uncle Obama received the best justice that having a famous nephew can buy.

Dear Race Hustlers: Read This.

To:  Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Rep. Bobby Rush, Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep Frederica WilsonSpike LeeRep. Hank Johnson, The New Black Panthers, Mark Potok and Richard Cohen and the SPLC, and other race hustlers of their ilk.

Take a moment to read Thomas Sowell's column at Townhall.com, a commentary on Geraldo Rivera's "hoodie comment"  and common sense vs. the race hustling that you engage in.

Some excerpts:

"The man who shot the black teenager in Florida may be as guilty as sin, for all I know -- or he may be innocent, for all I know.  We pay taxes so that there can be judges and jurors who sort out the facts.  We do not need Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton or the President of the United States spouting off before the trial has even begun."

"Playing with racial polarization is playing with fire."

"Have we forgotten the Jim Crow era, with courts making decisions based upon the race of the defendants, rather than the facts of the case?  That is part of the past that we need to leave in the past, not resurrect it under new racial management."

"Who is really showing concern for the well-being of minority youngsters, Geraldo Rivera who is trying to save lives, or Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and others who are hyping this tragic episode for their own benefit?"

Read the entire column here.

Could not have said it better myself, except to pose this question to the race hustlers:

How many innocent people will have to be maimed or die as a result of the mob violence you have incited with your perverted calls for "justice"?

Don't even try to deny it, as it has already started.  See here, here, and here.

Quote of the Day

In sum, from January 2009 to January 2011 — in the pre-Climategate days before Al Gore was a “sex poodle” and when the Himalayan glaciers were to be swamps and polar bears extinct — new gas and oil production was considered “bad,” given that Obama was pushing wind, solar, and “alternative” energies. In those giddy cap-and-trade days, he could afford to pontificate because he was not up for reelection and world demand was sluggish, dropping oil prices at the wellhead. When the world economy began rebounding, demand picked up, prices spiked, and now Obama is in campaign mode: suddenly high gas prices are bad and he claims not that he wants his House-approved cap-and-trade bill pushed through his Democratically controlled Senate, but rather that all along he has encouraged private enterprise to drill while successfully persuading us to cut back our consumption (as if we did so because of the impressive oratory of Barack Obama rather than because he had managed to ensure millions of Americans now had no jobs to drive to work to).

Victor Davis Hanson, The Gaseous Policies of Barack Obama

My Note:  A must-read article for anyone who is a producer.  Democrats and their ilk are requested to continue their immersion in Obamaganda.

Quote of the Day

"My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!"

Harry S. Truman

By the way, some information about the last arguably honorable Democrat to occupy the White House:

Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding our nation's history as any of the other 42 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.

The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence Missouri . His wife had inherited the house from her mother and father and other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.

When he retired from office in 1952 his income was a U.S. Army pension reported to have been $13,507.72 a year. Congress, noting that he was paying for his stamps and personally licking them, granted him an 'allowance' and, later, a retroactive pension of $25,000 per year.

After President Eisenhower was inaugurated, Harry and Bess drove home to Missouri by themselves. There was no Secret Service following them.

When offered corporate positions at large salaries, he declined, stating, "You don't want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the American people and it's not for sale."

Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, "I don't consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise."

As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food.

I have not personally verified this information.  I received it in an email from a family member, and thought it sufficiently interesting to pass along.

Free Shipping Alert: US Plastic

I just received an email from US Plastic.  They are running a free shipping promotion on orders over $75.00.  I have ordered their economy five gallon buckets and standard lids in the past, and have found that US Plastic sells a quality product for the price.  The economy buckets, in white, are food grade.  The standard lids are food grade and have a rubber gasket seal.

The only reservation I have had about ordering is the cost of shipping.  Well, that has been remedied through March 23, if you have at least $75.00 in your order and use code 68041 at step 3 in the checkout process.

Quote of the Day

"Due process and judicial process are not one and the same, particularly when it comes to national security. The Constitution guarantees due process, not judicial process."

Eric "Himmler" Holder, Attorney General of the United States of Amerika.

The above quote was Gestapomeister Holder's response to questions about whether or not the Obama regime felt that it could target Americans for assassination within U.S. borders.

Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/03/07/mueller-have-to-check-with-holder-whether-targeted-killing-rule-is-outside-us/#ixzz1oeGKOfOg

This story was covered by other blogs such as Zero Hedge and Mike Vanderboegh, but I did not see mention of this quote, which should scare the pants off of anyone with even passing knowledge of the Constitution and the concept of Due Process of Law.

Holder's statement is a very broad statement that exceeds the context in which it was given.  He states that there is a right to due process, but not to judicial process.  Think about this for a moment.  What is due process and how does a citizen obtain it?

The simple answer is that judicial process is an inseparable part of due process.  Without judicial process, the review of government action by the judiciary, due process is only the two words, a hollow shell of the idea that a person's rights under the Constitution are respected and enforced.  Without judicial process, due process is whatever the executive branch says it is, without the mechanism of judicial oversight and review guaranteed by the Constitution.  Due process would simply be a label plastered over the regimes practices, used to justify its actions, in this case the action being the sentencing to death of a citizen without judicial process.

How is judicial process essential to due process?  Judicial process is the real time application of due process, the proceedings which form the check  and balance on the power of the state.  It is the court procedure and case law interpretation of statutory law which, for example, examines whether the state has reasonable suspicion of a crime committed, probable cause to believe that a person committed the crime, whether the state violated the person's rights such as to remain silent, to ensure that proceedings are fair and that the accused has legal counsel, to apply the legal standard of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and to ensure that the punishment is not cruel or unusual.

Holder's statement, taken at face value, declares that none of the judicial process in the preceding paragraph is required.

Decades ago, the Supreme Court ruled that persons accused of misdemeanor traffic violations have the right to counsel where imprisonment was a possible penalty under the statute, even if it were unlikely that a defendant were to be sentenced to a day of jail time.

We have gone so far down the road to tyranny that, in a country that once upheld the right to a defense attorney for a misdemeanor traffic violation, there is no outrage when the nation's lead attorney declares that there is no right to judcial process (much less a defense attorney) when the government decides that a citizen's life is to be extinguished.

Holder is not only an embarrassment to the legal profession, but is a domestic enemy to the American people.  FBI Director Robert Mueller, himself an attorney and former U.S. Attorney, is a co-conspirator to Holder's crimes against the American people.  I only hope that the next administration prosecutes Holder and Mueller to the fullest extent of the law, but I will not be holding my breath in anticipation.

Sometimes I don't recognize this country that I was born and raised in.

EyeWitless News: 84-year Old Voter Told She's Dead

On Super Tuesday, 84 year old Maureen McCloskey went to the polls in Falls River, Massachusetts and was told that she was dead and could not vote.  Once Ms. McCloskey informed the poll worker that she was indeed alive, the poll worker allowed her to vote.

Ms. McCloskey disclosed that she is a lifelong Democrat, which explains why the poll worker would give her a ballot without independently verifying that Ms. McCloskey is alive.  Now that Ms. McCloskey has identified as a Democrat,  I predict that Massachusetts election officials will ensure that she continues to be registered to vote, and that she votes early and often, long after she departs the mortal plane.

I also predict that she has been registered to vote in Chicago, Illinois and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Happy New Year to everyone!  If 2011 was a confusing and difficult year, 2012 looks to be even more so.  Or maybe its just that I've been watching Armageddon Week on one of the History Channels.  I don't know if the world will end this year, but there are certainly enough ways for it to happen, from a financial collapse to an alignment of the earth and sun with a black hole later in the year.

Since the Mayans have given us until December 21, I have come up with my resolutions to deal with until then:

1)  Stop smoking  I actually quit for about four months last year.  I need to stick to it.
2)  Sell off excess belongings.  I seem to have a lot of stuff stored, that I don't need.
3)  Come up with new GOOD plan.  Previous plan involved friend who passed away last year.
4)  Research and acquire medical supplies beyond band-aids and ibuprofen.
5)  Evaluate and restructure bug out bags.  Another problem with too much stuff.
6)  Complete overdue home-improvement projects:  plumbing repairs, gutters, electrical upgrades, painting.
7)  Update first aid training and acquire more medical knowledge.
8)  Explore new business opportunities in the event current job is not productive.
9)  Inspect, and perform or schedule repairs for all vehicles.
10)  Update inventory of all preps.

I think that will keep me busy this year.
