Mentally challenged (or deranged Moonbat, your choice, just semantics) CNN reporter Candy Crowley recently interviewed former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.  Rumsfeld served under President George W. Bush.

During the interview, Crowley repeatedly asked Rumsfeld if he was aware of how much the world loves president Obama and just how much the rest of the world likes America now that Obama is president.  It should be noted here that Crowley was not really asking a question so much as she was seeking validation for her desire to give Obama a mega-hummer.  Rumsfeld repeatedly replied that data does not support the basis of Crowley's questions.  At least as to how much the world now loves Obama and America.

Worst Person in the World Suspended for Komrade Kontributions

I just about fell out of my chair when I read that the Worst Person in the World (his own label is perfect to stick on him) Keith Olbermann has been suspended for making political contributions to fellow collectivists Jack Conway, Raul Grijalva, and Gabrielle Giffords.  The suspension is indefinite and without pay.  Probably good for MSNBC as it may be a good excuse for them to get rid of his low-rated hatefest.

The parent company, NBC News, has tried to hide its own obvious bias towards collectivists by banning political contributions from its employees without prior approval of the network president.  On the surface the rule seems laudable, but it actually saves NBC the embarrassment of having public records of political contributions proving that NBC journalists are overwhelmingly collectivist. 

Olbermann, not content to embarrass only himself, has succeeded in embarrassing NBC News by confirming the bias that NBC had tried to dispel with its no-political-contribution rule.

Patty Murray: Asshat Extraordinaire

This morning I got up a bit early.  I turned on the TV and put on the coffee, but soon had to restrain myself from throwing my coffee mug at the TV.  What would inspire such a reaction?

My Asshat Senator, Patty "Moron in Tennis Shoes" Murray.

Her latest campaign ad is voiced over in an ominous tone about "Jobs lost", "Homes Foreclosed" and "Big Banks being bailed out by taxpayers".  I just cannot believe the chutzpah of this dimwitted, shit-for-brains, commie, libtard, Obama-ass-kissing piece of trash we have for a senator.  Yes, I am still referring to Patty Murray, who has served three terms as senator and is running for a fourth.

Patty Murray has presided over the lost jobs, homes foreclosed, and big bank theft.  She has supported every single Obama agenda item.  And before Obama, she supported every Chris Dodd and Barney Frank scheme to defraud the taxpayers, including the Community Reinvestment Act and refusing to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which directly contributed to the housing bubble and bust.  Patty Murray voted for TARP and every stimulus plan proposed by the Obama administration, lining the pockets of the big banks at taxpayer expense.  She voted for Obamacare, supports cap and trade, and supports letting the Bush tax cuts expire, all of which contribute to continued high unemployment.

Patty Murray is such a dishonest asshat that she not only runs away from her own record, but tries to pin the results of her substandard service in the senate on her opponent, who has not held public office since 2003, and only in the state legislature at that.

Voters of Washington State should pay attention to the disaster that Patty Murray has been for this state since she was elected in 1994, and particularly to her record since 2008 when the Democrats controlled the House, Senate, and Presidency.  

I want change I can believe in.  That's why I am voting to kick Patty Murray to the curb this November.

Obama is apparently promising $180,000,000,000.00 in tax cuts and infrastructure spending.  Whoo Hoo!

Will this offset the additional taxes in Obamacare and the rise in taxes when Obama refuses to extend the "Bush tax cuts"?  Will this result in no net increase in taxes?  Will this cost businesses substantial increases in accounting and compliance costs?  Has anyone with a brain analyzed this proposal before applauding it?

Regarding infrastructure spending, has anyone checked to see what the state contribution is to these projects?  Often federal grants have a required state contribution.  Where is this money going to come from when many states are furloughing employees, cutting back hours of service, and cannot afford to pay unemployment compensation costs?  Is this a giveaway to the unions?

Remember Clinton's policing grants back in the 1990's?  These declined over time to where the locality was left with the full salary, benefits, and equipment costs of these new officers, who were more than likely members of the police union.  Once hired, hard to fire.

Seems like the idiots on Wall Street will jump at anything thrown to them, and will believe that unicorns named Barack can perform miracles. 

I guess they might as well believe in miracles, as the unicorn has yet to perform.

Anniversary of a Leftist Massacre

Yesterday marked the 16th anniversary of the massacre of 43 innocent men, women, and children fleeing the totalitarian regime of Cuba's Fidel Castro in a tugboat bound for freedom in the United States. Originally there were 72 men, women, and children, but Cuban patrol boats rammed the tug and mowed down the civilians with a water cannon, sending all but 29 to a watery grave. Only through the intervention of a passing Greek freighter were there any survivors. The survivors were captured and punished by the Castro regime.

Retarded Politician of the Week honors go to Senator Ben Nelson, D-Nebraska. Nelson announced today that he would support the finance reform bill which is awaiting a vote in the senate. In announcing his support, Nelson said, “I will support the Wall Street reform bill to end bailouts, add commonsense consumer protections and make sure that Nebraska Main Street businesses are not adversely affected as we rein in recklessness on Wall Street."
Let's see, bailouts of all those Wall Street firms occurred because the House of Representatives and Senate proposed and then approved laws that used taxpayer funds to bail out those firms. Then the House and Senate discovered that their poorly written bailout package allowed Wall Street firms to earn obscene profits from taxpayer funds. Then the House and Senate propose a law which would prevent the House and Senate from future bailouts of Wall Street firms with taxpayer funds, which is misnamed the Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010.

In essence, Senator Nelson is in favor of a law which would prevent him and his Komrades from passing a law giving taxpayer funds to Wall Street firms.

It's like saying: I voted for a terrible law, so I will support a law that would prevent me from approving of another such terrible law in the future.

How retarded. Nelson proves that you cannot legislate common sense.

Runners up: Senator Olympia Snowe, R(INO)-Maine and Senator Scott Brown, R(INO)-Massachusetts for betraying their principles and supporting such a deeply flawed piece of legislation. Snowe has a long history of colluding with libtards. I had high hopes for Brown, who now appears to be channeling the demon spirit of Ted Kennedy. Nobody who is not an Obootlicker should be voting for a financial "reform" bill drafted/sponsored by the severely ethically compromised Wall Street toady soon-to-be-former-Senator Christopher Dodd. I have given some additional thought to Retarded Politician of the Week, Secretary of Labor Hilda L(ibtard) Solis. While I recogize that her announcement of help to illegal alien workers for "fair pay" is just another chapter of the Obamination's plans to sell out U.S. citizens to any special interest group likely to vote for the Progressive/Marxist Obamagenda, there may be a silver lining to Ms. Solis' promise of help to those who cannot be legally employed in the U.S.

U.S. companies who employ illegal aliens are a major encouragement of the continued flow of illegal aliens into the U.S. These companies try to boost profits by paying lower wages to, and often no payroll taxes on, illegal alien workers. The hiring of illegal aliens displaces American workers. It also depresses wages as Americans are forced to compete in the workplace against the illegal aliens who will work for lower wages and off-the-books wages.

If the Department of Labor forces U.S. companies to give "fair pay" to illegal alien workers and to pay the taxes associated with their employment, U.S. companies may very well abandon illegal alien workers. Besides the potential liability to companies for unpaid payroll taxes, penalties, and interest, laws in many states provide for double or triple damages against an employer for failure to pay earned wages and/or the minimum wage along with attorney fees and costs. With the Department of Labor now showing a willingness to pursue the enforcement of wage laws, U.S. companies have a substantial incentive to comply. This would greatly reduce any benefits to hiring low-wage illegal aliens and make hiring American citizens more attractive.

With a step up in wage law enforcement, jobs for illegal aliens could dry up quite rapidly. With fewer prospects for employment, many illegal aliens would likely leave the U.S., and fewer would come into the country. The law of unintended consequences may strike yet again.

However, I think you may have your head so far up Barak Obama's ass that you can't see straight, much less begin to understand the reasons that I and so many others are angry. I heard you on Laura Ingraham's show earlier in the week, and your arguments were so weak and ridiculous that I had to pull off the road until I was able to stop laughing and wipe the tears from my eyes. When Laura Ingraham asked you to cite specific instances of Tea Party activists and of talk-show hosts inciting hatred and violence, the best you could come up with was Michelle Bachmann, a politician, saying the government is (and I paraphrase) a thuggish criminal enterprise. Well, Mark Potok, she is right.

Where were you, Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center, when President George W. Bush was compared to Hitler, when a movie was made about his "assasination", and when scores of insanely left-wing protesters were foaming at the mouth and inciting violence against Bush? By the way, where have you been regarding Islamic terrorism? That is an institutionalized hatred of everything non-Muslim that dwarfs all of your home-grown "threats" combined.

Just so you know, Mark Potok, millions of Americans are angry with the government and it has nothing to do with the color of Barak Obama's skin. Barak Obama could be orange-skinned with purple hair and he would probably still be a left-wing Chicago politician with ideas as stale as the air in Franklin Delano Roosevelt's coffin. The left is bereft of any new ideas and keeps pushing its ancient statist agenda. When productive citizens such as myself are squeezed by the government, the left can be reliably counted on to demonize anyone (left, right, up, down, independent, etc.) who protests the Marxist agenda. The left even has stooges like you, Mark Potok, to publish reports demonizing American citizens who are guilty of nothing more than expressing constitutionally protected dissent. Stooges like you, Mark Potok, report your secret findings to other stooges, such as Janet Incompetento Napolitano, who sometimes are able to make the findings look legitimate with a shiny government seal and cover page.

I know, Mark Potok, that left-wing kooks have extremely short memories. It's a symptom of the mental illness of moonbattery. You probably don't remember this quote from almost-Chicago politician Hillary Rodham Clinton, "I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration." As a Christian, Mark Potok, I believe in forgiveness and I do forgive you for forgetting that disagreeing with the Obama administration is, in fact, patriotic.

Here are some things on which I disagree with Obama and that I am angry about:

--Said he would not raise taxes on those making under $250,000.00 a year, which was a lie. Twice raised tobacco taxes in the past fourteen months, and his Obamacare contains taxes and fines. All of these affect people who make under $250,000.00 per year.

--Obamacare. We don't need it, a majority don't want it, and we can't afford it.

--Government deficit spending and national debt. Obama is beyond Keynesian. This is just Marxist fantasy being played out in real life. Bush was bad enough for allowing deficit spending and growth of the national debt. Obama is insanely spending us into hyperinflation and bankruptcy.

--Has no effective strategy of his own for ending our military involvement in two wars after criticizing the Bush administration as a cheap ploy to get elected.

--Is ignoring the Iranian nuclear threat while abandoning Israel. I'm not Jewish, but I am a defender of Israel. Obama screwed this one up big time, and we will pay for it. Even Ed Koch agrees with me on this one.

--Is supporting Saudi Arabia becoming a nuclear state as a Sunni counter to Shiite Iran. Partially explains his hostility to Israel. Does Obama recall what happened to his spiritual predecessor, Jimmy "Dhimmi" Carter when the last Islamic Revolution took place on his watch. At least Iran did not have nukes in 1979.

--Is planning to use "financial services reform" as a political ploy to make people forget Obamacare. While financial service regulation could use some tinkering, Obama should start with reforming Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but won't because they are too politically sensitive for him to mess with. Besides, he might have to have a romantic dinner with Barney Frank to get anything done.

--Regarding "financial services reform", don't even get me started on the Obama administrations connection with and infiltration by the big financial firms. Lawrence "Did I really tell Bill Clinton to repeal Glass-Steagall" Summers, Timothy "Turbo Tax Cheat" Geithner, and Ben "Printing Press" Bernanke are only a few that come to mind. They are part of the problem and should be fired.

--Unemployment. It's high and I believe it is headed higher. Obama has shown that the only kind of jobs he can create are government jobs. These government jobs produce nothing and are a net drain on a struggling economy.

--Has absolutely no plan for increasing domestic energy sources. Does not support increasing domestic production of oil, gas, coal-fired power plants, nuclear power plants, or anything else that will provide energy for less than $100.00 per kilowatt hour.

--Plans to tax the hell out of domestic energy usage through this "Cap and Trade" nonsense. Get ready for everything to get more expensive. Obama himself told us to get ready for our electric bills to skyrocket.

--Plans to increase his voter base by granting citizenship to millions of illegal aliens. My ancestors had to apply for entry to this country; so should everyone else. My take is that the Chicago political machine exhausted all the cemetaries of voters and got tired of driving the lunatics to the polls, so they decided to create new voters out of illegal aliens.

And there are so many reasons that I have run out of time for listing them. Let me just give you a quote from British Commentator Gerald Warner, who wrote, "Watch out, France and Co, there is a new surrender monkey on the block and, over the next four years, he will spectacularly sell out the interests of the West with every kind of liberal-delusionist initiative on nuclear disarmament and sitting down to negotiate with any power freak who wants to buy time to get a good ICBM fix on San Francisco, or wherever. If you thought the world was a tad unsafe with Dubya around, just wait until President Pantywaist gets into his stride." How true.

Oh, and Mark Potok, if you happen to run into Abe Foxman of the Anti Defamation League will you tell him that he has been promoted to the rank of Oberfuhrer? Reichsfuhrer Janet Napolitano is grateful for the ADL urging the government to have a major law enforcement operation against opponents of Obamacare. Link. EyeWitless News: Obama to Favor Newly Designed Conventional Weapons over Nukes

The Obama administration has negotiated a new arms reduction treaty with Russia that would reduce America's stockpile of nuclear weapons, and has radically changed the decades-old American policy regarding the use of nuclear weapons.

Obama has pledged that the United States will not defend itself with nuclear weapons when attacked by conventional, biological, or chemical weapons. In changing U.S. policy, Obama has revealed America's latest and perhaps most effective technology in deterring America's enemies from attacking.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is at the forefront of deploying the new technology, which the administration claims will create millions of new jobs as workers across the United States go to work revamping missles, aircraft, and other delivery systems formerly dedicated to carrying nuclear payloads. Gates has even disclosed that significant numbers of the unemployed will be able to work at home assembling the electronic components necessary for the new weapons system.

Gates revealed that the new weapons system will consist of former nuclear warhead delivery systems loaded with mp3 players containing speeches by President Obama, Senator Harry Reid, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and Representative Barney Frank, D-MA. Gates stated that in the event of an imminent attack on the United States, the delivery systems will be used to launch millions of the mp3 players to be dropped over hostile territory.

The administration believes that after listening to the contents of the mp3 players, those planning attacks on the United States will realize that there is nothing left in the United States worth fighting for. Those hostile parties not convinced by the content of the speeches are expected to expire from asphyxiation after rolling around on the ground in convulsive fits of laughter.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was quoted as angrily demanding that the United States immediately cease plans for the new weapons system, as cruelty towards a civilian population is banned by the Geneva Convention. Lavrov further responded by threatening to retaliate by sending Backfire bombers loaded with borscht to cover the United States.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton responded to Lavrov's comments by threatening to send former president Jimmy Carter to Moscow to monitor Russian elections.

The "other people" that we think would be the recipient of government redistribution of income could be anyone, including whites. Were Joan and Frank Rich separated at birth?

Colbert King, writing in the Washington Post, "In the faces of Tea Party shouters, images of hate and history" suggesting that Tea Party protesters against the health bill are the equivalent of racists protesting the integration of Little Rock's Central High School in 1957. It appears that Mr. King is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. He has been held hostage by the Democratic Party so long that he forgets that it is the Democrats who fought to keep Blacks enslaved, dominated the South and Blacks after the Civil War, and have used government welfare to further subjugate Blacks from the 1960's onward. Pity the fool.

Ray Hanania, writing at Huffington Post (I know, hardly even qualifies for "media"), "Opposition to Obama Health Care Reform Driven by Racism, Not Fear of Increasing Debt" alleging the usual liberals' tired arguments that opposition to the Progressive ideal is grounded in racism. Somebody give this guy a real job so that he can see something outside of his mother's basement.

Frank James, writing at National Public Radio (a grandaddy of left-wing fruit-loopery), "Health-Care Protests Bring Out Racist, Homophobic Slurs" alleging that opposition to Obamacare is rooted in "free-form hostility some Americans feel towards the political ascendancy of people who don't look like them or who have a different sexual orientation." No, it's because I cherish my right to choose my health care and to be free from paying for yours.

Frank Rich: Racist, Marxist, Moonbat

My commentary is based upon this Frank Rich op-ed, "The Rage is Not About Health Care." I had originally thought to title my commentary, "Frank Rich is symbolic of what is wrong with this country", but decided that if Frank can resort to hyperbole, false characterizations, and name-calling, that I would keep to the high road and call a spade a spade.

Frank starts out describing the "apoplectic" reactions of Karl Rove and Rep. John Boehner, R-OH, to the so-called health care bill. Frank needs to get out a little more. If he would spend some time outside his ivory tower, he would realize that Rove and Boehner represent the feelings of at least 60% of the population. The majority of the populace do not want the health care bill and are not being represented by their elected officials in Congress. To elitist Frank, non-representation is not a concern because our liberal betters know what we need.

Next Frank goes on the defensive for those miscreant congressmen who voted for Obamacare. It is not enough for Frank to make the outrageous statement that death threats are being made. (Actually a few death threats aren't surprising. Remember that the Left actually cheered for a movie about President Bush being assassinated.) Frank has to add a sinister element to the public displeasure with the Obamacare supporters. "Civil rights hero" John Lewis, "openly gay" Barney Frank, and "black representative" Emanuel Cleaver are cited by Frank as targets of public anger over Obamacare. I, and the vast majority of people protesting Obamacare, don't care if John Lewis, Barney Frank, and Emanuel Cleaver are orange, straight as Pat Robertson, and bonafide patriots. Obamacare is the socialist camel's nose under the tent of liberty and free people are not happy about it.

Frank compares Obamacare to Roosevelt's New Deal, Johnson's Great Society, and the Civil Rights Act. He concludes that, compared to these ideological rips in the fabric of our society, Obamacare is no big deal. Frank is flat-out wrong. The New Deal is known to have prolonged the suffering of the American people through the Great Depression and has laid waste to trillions of dollars of earnings.

Social Security alone, aside from the pillaging of the social security trust fund for runaway government spending, currently removes some twelve percent of earned income from the economy under the guise of old-age income security. Add on the medicare tax from Johnson's Great Society, and another three percent of earned income is removed from the economy. Total removed from the paychecks of working American's for social security programs: 15.3 percent of earned income. And workers from age 16 on will not see a dime of benefit until at least age 62.

Johnson's Great Society, aside from adding a health care tax to everyone's earned income, made fathers an endangered species. What does a child need a father for when there is Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), United States Department of Agriculture food stamps, Housing and Urban Development Section 8 housing, utilities assistance, free medicaid health insurance, free college tuition, and subsidized (nearly free) daycare? Generations of children do not have relationships with their fathers because the state has made fathers unnecessary. Why should a mother keep a pesky father around when the state will pay her to get rid of him? I know this from experience, having been a family law attorney for over fifteen years.

Other highlights of the Great Society include the Model Cities Act. Remember Detroit, Michigan? The liberals don't want you to remember, because Detroit is a nearly-dead city and was a prime recipient of assistance under the Model Cities Act. Watch this video by Steven Crowder. Oh, and of course we have Affirmative Action. Affirmative Action has been perhaps the most racist legislation enacted since slavery was outlawed in this country. Affirmative Action is so contrary to the egalitarian, rise-on-your-own-merits heritage of this country that it has created an environment in which the able are marginalized for the benefit of underqualified minorities. The most visible result of Affirmative Action and the damage it has caused our Republic are the Marxist occupants of the White House, Michelle and Barry Soetoro. Forget qualifications, or even the requirement that a presidential candidate be a natural-born citizen, just vote for Barry because he is black.

That leads me to the Civil Rights Act. Noble purpose, bad execution. This camel's nose has led to protected classes for everyone but white males. In creating special protections for every minority class in existence, the only true minority left in this country is the white male.

So, if Obamacare is hardly as consequential as the New Deal, the Great Society, and the Civil Rights Act, Frank can keep it. Frank's purpose in mentioning the FDR and LBJ era programs is based upon his mistaken belief that these are popularly recognized as "good" government intervention and that anyone who opposes them is a racist troglodyte.

No, free people in this country are resistant to Obamacare and other liberal/progressive/socialist/Marxist programs for reasons that a pampered, pseudo-intellectual, Francophile turd like Frank cannot begin to understand.

First, opposition to Obamacare is about taxation. Four years of taxes before real implementation begins. Not to mention the fact that all working Americans already pay a health care tax for medicare that most of us don't receive. Not to mention other stealth taxes such as the ten percent tax on tanning salons that Frank blithely referenced in his article. Frank would be screaming if a ten percent tax were levied upon his income in addition to the taxes he already pays. If Frank were residing in my home state of the People's Republic of the Other Washington, I would use the referendum process to target his sorry ass for extreme taxation just as his liberal cohorts target the working-class producers of this country to finance their utopian oppression.

Second, opposition to Obamacare is about representation. Representation as in paying attention to the wishes of the electorate, not the fat-ass op-ed columnists who pronounce what is best for American from the offices of their morally and financially bankrupt newspapers. The American people are overwhelming opposed to Obamacare and were not represented by our traitorous senators and representatives.

Third, and most importantly, opposition to Obamacare is about the Constitution and liberty. Frank could care less about the Constitution. True Constitutional scholars recognize that the federal government cannot control state governments and that forcing individuals to purchase a product (such as health insurance) is unconstitutional. Lightweight intellectuals like Frank cite the Commerce Clause. Frank does not recognize the potential for abuse of the Commerce Clause, which could be used to require him to wear a pink tutu and slippers while writing his column, as his column does enter into interstate commerce. My health care, in my state of residence, is not an interstate commerce issue and is further protected by the Tenth Amendment.

Further, the liberty of a free people is being infringed by Obamacare. Aside from having to pay for the health insurance of other people, which is in itself an infringement upon my liberty, I have the right to determine what health care I want, if any at all. It is an impermissible infringement upon my liberty to force me to purchase health insurance or to pay a tax for not purchasing health insurance. If I want to pay a private doctor, a clinic, an insurance company, an HMO, or the local hospital for my health care, that is my right.

I hope that Frank has a fortified place to hide as he continues to side against freedom-loving Americans who are not going to have infringements to their liberties thrust upon them by an oppressive socialist regime. I do not advise that anyone throw bricks or any other solid building materials at Frank. This is not out of concern for Frank, whose demise could be filed under "civic improvement", but out of my concern that freedom-loving Americans will get better use out of saving such materials for building their bunkers.

The revolution is coming.

Now They Own It

The Democrats have managed to push that obamanation of a health care bill through the house. Without a single Republican vote they will effectively be taking over one-sixth of the American economy. My representative, Cathy McMorris-Rodgers, did not vote for the economic death bill.

Out of the 219 Democraps who voted for this Marxist manifesto, I am going to find the one's that are in nearby districts, then do what I can to contribute to their un-election in the fall. I encourage everyone else to actively work against these 219 traitors to the Republic.

I, for one, am mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore.
