Who would be vile enough to be in bed with Reichsfuhrer Janet Napolitano, otherwise known as the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security? Now we know.
It's Representative Lamar Smith, Republican from Texas.
Many of us recall when Reichsfuhrer Napolitano came up with "If You See Something, Say Something", a collaboration with our Chinese masters at Wal-Mart suggesting that shoppers become snitches on their fellow Americans. At the time I referred to it as "If You See It Twitch, Be A Snitch."
Well, Rep. Smith is not content to allow the Reichsfuhrer to bask in all of the National Socialist glory. That's why he has introduced the "See Something, Say Something Act of 2011". Read the text of this legislative abomination here. In short, the bill proposes to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to provide immunity for reporting suspicious behavior that may be related to terrorism (my emphasis added).
Or maybe Rep. Smith is jealous all of the attention that Obamoron extraordinaire Cass Sunstein received over his own proposals regarding "suspicious activity".
I can think of three reasons that Rep. Smith's proposed legislation is stupid.
First, can anyone demonstrate that a lack of immunity from suit has caused a substantial decline in reporting of suspected terrorist activities? One would first have to believe that some kind of liability arises from doing one's civic duty of reporting criminal activity. I try my best to keep up with the news, and I cannot think of any reporting on this issue. It appears that, once again, government is out to solve a non-existent problem.
Second, this is just more of the typical, big-government answer to every problem, whether real or perceived: more legislation! In this instance it is legislation to prevent the filing of frivolous suits against persons who report what they believe to be terrorism related activity. Most proponents of government solutions are totally ignorant of the law of unintended consequences. The likely unintended consequence of this bill, if passed? Why, there is no reason not to snitch on every observation of suspicious activity. In fact, this encourages the use of law enforcement to harass those we do not like, so long as the report of "suspicious activity" is not false. One only needs to read the news each day to know that citizens are routinely violated by black pajama-clad agents of the state over "suspicious activity." I guess Rep. Smith is either ignorant of the world around him or he believes we need more middle-of-the night visits from badge-adorned bogeymen.
Third, this type of legislation plays right into the hands of an increasingly paranoid, out-of-touch, control-freak President and his minions, who make the Nixon administration look like a bunch of nap-deprived pre-schoolers. I'm tempted to report Rep. Smith to www.attackwatch.com for stealing The Won's thunder. If Rep. Smith plans on being re-elected, he ought to focus more on being part of the party of Not Obama. That means refusing to advocate snitching, Orwellian tactics, sexual assault of ordinary Americans who simply want to travel, and instead standing up for the civil liberties of all Americans, including those accused or suspected of crimes.
That last part is the most important. Post 9/11, everything is either becoming a crime or subjecting us to suspicion and rights violations. Rep. Smith's proposed legislation, in my mind, purports to give citizens permission to rat on each other and invite what may be unwarranted government investigation, without fear of any liability. As Ayn Rand once wrote, "We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission." Ms. Rand should be glad that she is dead, because we are just about there, and Rep. Smith is one of its midwives.
It is retarded to grant permission in this way to citizens who should have no fear of reporting criminal activity if the legal system is performing as it should. It is retarded to assist an administration in its Nixonian and Orwellian pursuit of punishment for its enemies. And it is the height of retardation for a politician who is not a member of the administration to engage in its brand of Reichspolitik.
Hat tip to InfoWars, whose story caused my inflammation.

Retarded Politician of the Week Proposes Tax on Turds
Actually, taxing turds would just be the logical next step for the proposal made by Jim Suttle, Mayor of Omaha, Nebraska. Mayor Suttle is proposing that the federal government levy a 10 cent tax on each roll of toilet paper purchased. Suttle, the consummate politician, makes it clear that, while he is proposing the tax, he is not necessarily endorsing it. Interesting.....
The turd paper tax would supposedly pay for federally mandated sewer improvements in Omaha. Of course, like any tax proposed by any politician, a tax enacted never seems to go away and is often expanded beyond its original purpose. Is it such a slippery slope to go from a tax on TP to a tax on turds?
Story in the Omaha World-Herald here.

Retarded Politician of the Week: Pima County, Arizona Sheriff Clarence Dupnik
Sergeant Joe Friday, no known political affiliation, LAPD: "Just the facts, ma'am."
Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, Democrat, Pima County Sheriff: "Just let me vent my spleen about you right-wing bigots."
Actually, the quote from Sheriff Dupnik was:
"When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government. The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous," he said. "And unfortunately, Arizona, I think, has become the capital. We have become the mecca for prejudice and bigotry."
The above-quote was made by Sheriff Dupnik following the shooting of Representative Gabrielle Giffords, D-Arizona and other innocents by Jared Lee Loughner on January 8, 2011. It appeared in the Newsmax story, here.
How retarded. At a time that the citizens of Pima County need Dupnik to dispassionately perform his duties as the chief elected law enforcement officer, he engages in the type of hate-based political discourse that he decries. Persons with political views that don't match Dupnik's own leftist ideology have now been libelled as bigots. According to Dupnik, their political speech is considered prejudice and bigotry, and renders them responsible for the violence perpetrated by extremists. The use of political office by Sheriff Dupnik to espouse such views reveals him to be the sort of intolerant petty despot who is a threat to liberty and unfit for office.
Was Sheriff Dupnik aware that the shooter, Jared Lee Loughner (always three names for an assassin) was a loony lefty whose favorite books included Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto and that Mr. Loughner had rants about as intelligible as Keith Olbermann's? That Mr. Loughner's political views appear to be those associated with Sheriff Dupnik's own political party?
It appears that Sheriff Dupnik's office may have been aware that Mr. Loughner was unstable and prone to violence. Karl Denninger reports on this in his excellent post on the shooting of Representative Giffords and the reaction of the left: The Shameful Left and Revisionism. The paragraph on Sheriff Dupnik is a ways down in the post, so I will reproduce the relevant paragraph here:
"See, there are also, unfortunately, reports in the media that the suspect had expressed homicidal ideation - that is, a desire (or threat) to murder. That's in the press at this point, and it's a problem. If this was known to the local law enforcement community, why wasn't he evaluated with regard to his mental stability? That may explain why the Pima County Sheriff was talking trash yesterday - he knows he's got himself a bit of 'splaining to do once people figure out that they had this guy in custody at least once, knew he was potentially unstable and that he was a threat to others. If they had done their job perhaps this wouldn't have happened - you see, it is already illegal for someone who is mentally ill to purchase and/or own a firearm, which begs the question: did every opportunity exist to interdict this individual at some point in the last couple of years, including direct contact with law enforcement who were aware of homicidal threats and his behavior at his college, and yet either the procedures were not in place to refer him for evaluation or they were not followed?"
Representative Giffords was the victim, along with other innocents, of a crazed criminal gunman. I hope that Representative Giffords and the other wounded innocents have a speedy and full recovery. The survivors of those who were murdered by Mr. Loughner have my sympathy. This was a tragedy.
The citizens are the victims of outrageous statements made by the media and elected officials including Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik. These statements, following this false-flag event, will undoubtedly be used by tyrannical fascist politicians to further limit the Constitutional rights of Americans to freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to keep and bear arms. Mark my words.
False-flag event. I have chosen those words carefully. When a politician from the left exploits the murderous actions of a leftist extremist for the purpose of demonizing persons who had no connection to the murderous actions of the leftist extremist, I consider that to be a false-flag event.
The only reason to demonize persons who had no connection to the murderous event is to limit their freedoms. It isn't hard to figure out. Sheriff Dupnik has already told you that some political speech should be limited because it is, in his left-wing opinion, hateful, prejudiced, bigoted, and responsible for the violence of left-wing nutjob Mr. Loughner. That is but one example of freedoms to be limited.
Kudos to my own Representative, Cathy McMorris-Rodgers, who reacted as reported by Fox News:
"Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., who appeared with Clyburn, said she is not aware that alleged shooter Jared Lee Loughner is tied to a political movement or engaged in a politically motivated act.
"You know, his favorite books are 'the Communist Manifesto' and 'Mein Kampf.' I think it's important that we recognize that this is an individual that had -- that has mental challenges, and we need to act appropriately in dealing with him and making sure that justice prevails here," she said."
A criminal act was committed by a criminal in Arizona yesterday. Sheriff Dupnik turned a criminal act into a political action for the purpose of libelling a particular brand of political speech, turning the actions of a criminal into a false-flag event that will likely affect the freedoms of a generation of American citizens. Again, how retarded.

Retarded Politician of the Week: Michael Wolfensohn
New Castle, New York Councilman Michael Wolfensohn is the Retarded Politician of the Week.
Who else but a retarded politician would call the police on two teenagers selling cupcakes for a dollar each in a public park? That's just what Wolfensohn did. Read about it here.
Who cares if they did not have a permit! Aren't there better things for fat-ass politicians to be doing on the public's dime? Is the budget balanced in New Castle? Is the public of New Castle getting its moneys worth out of its turd for a councilman? Do New Castle residents have the balls to recall this piece of crap? These are questions that need to be answered. Leave the kids alone.
Then there is the waste of the police officers' time. An incident like this shows that New Castle could save money by hiring police officers who arrest real criminals.
Back to Wolfensohn: Is his next official act going to be pissing in some little girl's lemonade pitcher?
New Castle voters should piss on Wolfensohn's future electability.

Retarded Politician of the Week: Lisa Murkowski
Note to Lisa: The State of Alaska is NOT owned by the Murkowski family.
Retarded Politician of the Week honors go to soon-not-to-be Senator Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska. The twit thinks that the senate seat her daddy gave to her belongs to her forever and ever and ever. I was born and raised in Alaska and consider myself to be a real Alaskan, rather than the Cheechakos who moved in later when the state was booming. Thus, I feel qualified to pass judgment on Ms. Murkowski.
When Lisa's daddy, Frank, was the sitting senator from Alaska, he decided to run for governor. This was back in 2002. When Frank was elected governor, his new job included filling the unexpired term of his senate seat. After looking far and wide across the vast stretches of tundra and mountain ranges, Frank could find only one qualified person among the 600,000 plus residents of Alaska: his own daughter, Lisa. People howled at the blatant nepotism, but Frank was generally well-liked at the time and things settled down.
In 2004, the Murkowski name was still somewhat respected in Alaska, and Lisa was elected to a full senate term of her own.
In 2006, the people had figured out what a careerist, cronyist, nepotist politician Frank really was and replaced him in the Republican primary with Sarah Palin, who had run as a reform candidate. Sarah delivered the reform she promised, going after corrupt politicians and bureaucrats in both parties.
Fast-forward to 2010. Nepotist Frank had been taken down by the Palin machine. Lisa has become a career D.C. politician, out of touch with her constituents. Charismatic candidate Joe Miller challenges her in the primary, promising reform. Reformist Sarah backs Joe. Lisa loses primary.
Lisa does not like being spurned by her subjects. First she tries to hijack the Libertarian Party by negotiating with the Libertarian candidate to allow her the Libertarian party ballot spot. She is turned down.
What to do? What to do? It appears that the only option left is to conclude that the electorate of her state is a bunch of idiots who have made a terrible mistake in voting for a real conservative instead of dear Lisa. So she pulls out the Joe Lieberman playbook and decides to run a write-in campaign as an independent.
(Note: The Republican party should have never helped Joe Lieberman against crazy dipshit Ned Lamont in 2006. If the Republicans had any prinicples they would have exploited the split in the liberal electorate caused by Lieberman/Lamont to elect a Republican)
Lisa, Princess of Murkowskiland, please pack up your crap and just go home. The people have spoken, and they don't want you anymore. Sorry, but this is true. Don't insult the great people of the great State of Alaska by forcing yourself upon them with your write-in campaign. Don't insult Republicans and consevatives by helped another Democrat to be elected. Just keep your chin up and go home.
I know that Princess Lisa will not listen to this. Instead, feeling that she is the rightful heir to the senate throne her daddy left to her, she will work hard to maintain the divine Murkowski righ to that seat. When all she accomplishes is to elect a companion for Mark Begich to join the Obama gay circle-jerk with, she will join her father, Frank, in the political and actual wilderness of Alaska.
After reading Princess Lisa's tale, I am sure you will agree that she is divinely qualified to be Retarded Politician of the Week.

Retarded Politician of the Week
Retarded Politician of the Week honors go to Senator Ben Nelson, D-Nebraska. Nelson announced today that he would support the finance reform bill which is awaiting a vote in the senate. In announcing his support, Nelson said, “I will support the Wall Street reform bill to end bailouts, add commonsense consumer protections and make sure that Nebraska Main Street businesses are not adversely affected as we rein in recklessness on Wall Street."
Let's see, bailouts of all those Wall Street firms occurred because the House of Representatives and Senate proposed and then approved laws that used taxpayer funds to bail out those firms. Then the House and Senate discovered that their poorly written bailout package allowed Wall Street firms to earn obscene profits from taxpayer funds. Then the House and Senate propose a law which would prevent the House and Senate from future bailouts of Wall Street firms with taxpayer funds, which is misnamed the Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010.
In essence, Senator Nelson is in favor of a law which would prevent him and his Komrades from passing a law giving taxpayer funds to Wall Street firms.
It's like saying: I voted for a terrible law, so I will support a law that would prevent me from approving of another such terrible law in the future.
How retarded. Nelson proves that you cannot legislate common sense.
Runners up: Senator Olympia Snowe, R(INO)-Maine and Senator Scott Brown, R(INO)-Massachusetts for betraying their principles and supporting such a deeply flawed piece of legislation. Snowe has a long history of colluding with libtards. I had high hopes for Brown, who now appears to be channeling the demon spirit of Ted Kennedy. Nobody who is not an Obootlicker should be voting for a financial "reform" bill drafted/sponsored by the severely ethically compromised Wall Street toady soon-to-be-former-Senator Christopher Dodd. See his list of contributors here.

Retarded Like a Fox
I have given some additional thought to Retarded Politician of the Week, Secretary of Labor Hilda L(ibtard) Solis. While I recogize that her announcement of help to illegal alien workers for "fair pay" is just another chapter of the Obamination's plans to sell out U.S. citizens to any special interest group likely to vote for the Progressive/Marxist Obamagenda, there may be a silver lining to Ms. Solis' promise of help to those who cannot be legally employed in the U.S.
U.S. companies who employ illegal aliens are a major encouragement of the continued flow of illegal aliens into the U.S. These companies try to boost profits by paying lower wages to, and often no payroll taxes on, illegal alien workers. The hiring of illegal aliens displaces American workers. It also depresses wages as Americans are forced to compete in the workplace against the illegal aliens who will work for lower wages and off-the-books wages.
If the Department of Labor forces U.S. companies to give "fair pay" to illegal alien workers and to pay the taxes associated with their employment, U.S. companies may very well abandon illegal alien workers. Besides the potential liability to companies for unpaid payroll taxes, penalties, and interest, laws in many states provide for double or triple damages against an employer for failure to pay earned wages and/or the minimum wage along with attorney fees and costs. With the Department of Labor now showing a willingness to pursue the enforcement of wage laws, U.S. companies have a substantial incentive to comply. This would greatly reduce any benefits to hiring low-wage illegal aliens and make hiring American citizens more attractive.
With a step up in wage law enforcement, jobs for illegal aliens could dry up quite rapidly. With fewer prospects for employment, many illegal aliens would likely leave the U.S., and fewer would come into the country. The law of unintended consequences may strike yet again.

Retarded Politician of the Week
It's been a while since I have posted a Retarded Politician of the Week. Not that there has been a shortage of candidates. To the contrary, I am overwhelmed by the number of worthy contenders. So much so that I have not been able to make up my mind. That is, until today.
U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Hilda L(ibtard). Solis is by far the most mentally deficient politician I have heard about this week. Ms. Solis has promised that the Department of Labor will help illegal aliens to receive "fair pay" for their work in the U.S. Illegal aliens who under U.S. law cannot be legally employed in the U.S. How freaking retarded is that? Does Solis represent Americans or did she prematurely act on behalf of the North American Union? Will illegal workers be paid in Ameros? Is Kommissar Solis legally in the U.S.?
Watch the video, but make sure you have your barf bag handy.

Retarded Politician of the Week: Charlie "Jesus" Crist
Looks like some of that "Messiah Dust" must have found its way onto Florida Governor Charlie Crist when he hugged Barack Obama. Now Senate candidate Chuckie thinks that he is so indispensible to the State of Florida that he can rise again from political death to electability as an independent. "Jesus" Crist has left the Republican Party and become an independent because Floridians, and all of America, need "Jesus" Crist in these trying times.
The heck with loyalty, the heck with fair play, the heck with losing like a man. These principles are reserved for mere mortals. "Jesus" Crist is a political prophet, nay a political "messiah" for the unwashed masses, here to rise above the Democratic and Republican parties and deliver Floridians and Americans from evil.
The truth is that "Jesus" Crist is politically clueless and misread the political winds. He reached out to Obama and supported the horrendous federal bailout, which did nothing for the man on the street. He backed the teachers' unions in Florida rather than parents and students. And he had no clue what the Tea Party movement was about and was bypassed by it. Unlike the real Jesus, Crist is out to save only one soul: his own political soul.
Hopefully the Republican, conservative, and libertarian voters of Florida will do what is fitting for "Jesus" Crist, and crucify him in the election by voting for Marco Rubio.

Retarded Politicians of the Week
Four members of the Washington State Senate have so distinguished themselves with mental incapacity that the honor of Retarded Politician of the Week must be shared amongst them.
The winners are:
Senator Darlene Fairley, D-32
Senator Adam Kline, D-37
Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles, D-36
Senator Joe McDermott, D-34
The four mental incompetents have introduced a Senate bill, SB 6396, which seeks to ban a class of firearms, the dreaded and misnamed "assault weapons" based upon their appearance and ability to hold more than ten rounds of ammunition. Aside from violating Washington citizens' Second Amendment rights, the bill proposes violating the Fourth Amendment rights of current owners of "assault weapons" by requiring said owners to submit to searches by the Sheriff. Also notable is the exception from the law granted to law enforcement and government employees.
The following are the proposed changes to RCW 9.41.010:
(20) "Assault weapon" means:
(a) Any semiautomatic pistol or semiautomatic or pump-action rifle or shotgun that is capable of accepting a detachable magazine, with a capacity to accept more then ten rounds of ammunition and that also possesses any of the following:
(i) If the firearm is a rifle or shotgun, a pistol grip located rear of the trigger;
(ii) If the firearm is a rifle or shotgun, a stock in any configuration, including but not limited to a thumbhole stock, a folding stock or a telescoping stock, that allows the bearer of the firearm to grasp the firearm with the trigger hand such that the web of the trigger hand, between the thumb and forefinger, can be placed below the top of the external portion of the trigger during firing;
(iii) If the firearm is a pistol, a shoulder stock of any type or configuration, including but not limited to a folding stock or a telescoping stock;
(iv) A barrel shroud;
(v) A muzzle brake or muzzle compensator;
(vi) Any feature capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the hand that is not the trigger hand;
(b) Any pistol that is capable of accepting a detachable magazine at any location outside of the pistol grip;
(c) Any semiautomatic pistol, any semiautomatic, center-fire rifle, or any shotgun with a fixed magazine that has the capacity to accept more than ten rounds of ammunition;
(d) Any shotgun capable of accepting a detachable magazine;
(e) Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder;
(f) Any conversion kit or other combination of parts from which an assault weapon can be assembled if the parts are in the possession or under the control of any person.
(21) "Detachable magazine" means a magazine, the function of which is to deliver one or more ammunition cartridges into the firing chamber, which can be removed from the firearm without the use of any tool, including a bullet or ammunition cartridge.
(22) "Barrel shroud" means a covering, other than a slide, that is attached to, or that substantially or completely encircles, the barrel of a firearm and that allows the bearer of the firearm to hold the barrel with the nonshooting hand while firing the firearm, without burning that hand, except that the term does not include an extension of the stock along the bottom of the barrel that does not substantially or completely encircle the barrel.
(23) "Muzzle brake" means a device attached to the muzzle of a weapon that utilizes escaping gas to reduce recoil.
(24) "Muzzle compensator" means a device attached to the muzzle of a weapon that utilizes escaping gas to control muzzle movement.
(25) "Conversion kit" means any part or combination of parts designed and intended for use in converting a firearm into an assault weapon.
NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. A new section is added to chapter 9.41 RCW to read as follows:
(1) No person in this state shall manufacture, possess, purchase, sell, or otherwise transfer any assault weapon, or any assault weapon conversion kit, except as authorized by subsection (3) of this section.
Any assault weapon or assault weapon conversion kit the manufacture, possession, purchase, sale, or other transfer of which is prohibited under this section is a public nuisance.
(2) No person in this state shall possess or have under his or her control at one time both of the following:
(a) A semiautomatic or pump-action rifle, semiautomatic pistol, or shotgun capable of accepting a detachable magazine; and
(b) Any magazine capable of use with that firearm that contains more than ten rounds of ammunition.
(3) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply to any of the following:
(a) The possession of an unloaded assault weapon for the purpose of permanently relinquishing it to a law enforcement agency in this state.
Any assault weapon relinquished pursuant to this subsection shall be destroyed;
(b) The transfer of any assault weapon by a licensed manufacturer or dealer to a law enforcement agency in this state for use by that agency or its employees for law enforcement purposes;
(c) The possession of an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, but only if the person legally possessing the assault weapon has complied with all of the requirements of subsection (5) of this section;
(d) The possession of an assault weapon that has been permanently disabled so that it is incapable of discharging a projectile.
(4) Subsection (2) of this section shall not apply to any person:
(a) While lawfully engaged in shooting at a duly licensed, lawfully operated shooting range;
(b) While lawfully participating in a sporting event officially sanctioned by a club or organization established in whole or in part for the purpose of sponsoring sport shooting events.
(5) In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing the assault weapon shall do all of the following:
(a) Safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection;
(b) Possess the assault weapon only on property owned or immediately controlled by the person, or while engaged in the legal use of the assault weapon at a duly licensed firing range, or while traveling to or from either of these locations for the purpose of engaging in the legal use of the assault weapon, provided that the
assault weapon is stored unloaded and in a separate locked container during transport.
(6) Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, any person in this state who, after the effective date of this section, acquires title to an assault weapon by inheritance, bequest, or succession, shall, within thirty days of acquiring title, do one of the following:
(a) Comply with all of the requirements of subsection (5) of this section;
(b) Dispose of the assault weapon pursuant to subsection (3)(a) of this section; or
(c) Permanently disable the assault weapon so that it is incapable of discharging a projectile.
(7)(a) Any person convicted of violating subsection (1) or (2) of this section is guilty of a class C felony.
(b) Any person convicted of violating subsection (5) of this section is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
(8) This section does not apply to:
(a) Marshals, sheriffs, prison or jail wardens or their deputies, or other law enforcement officers of this or another state while acting within the scope of their duties;
(b) Members of the armed forces of the United States or of the national guard or organized services, when on duty;
(c) Officers or employees of the United States duly authorized to possess assault weapons; or
(d) Any person engaged in the business of manufacturing, repairing, or dealing in assault weapons, or the representative or agent of the person who is properly licensed under federal or state laws to do so and who is acting within the usual and ordinary course of the business.
So, my 9mm pistol that holds fifteen rounds would be a banned weapon subjecting me to warrantless inspections by the county sheriff, yet my 9mm pistol that holds ten rounds and has exactly the same operating principles is perfectly kosher?
My Ruger 10/22 with a twenty round magazine makes me a felon, yet with a ten round magazine it's all cool?
None of this matters if I'm a cop or the right kind of government employee? Didn't Heinrich Himmler propose the same kind of laws back in the good old days of totalitarian national socialism?
Senators Fairley, Kline, Kohl-Welles, and McDermott are a bunch of f*****g idiots and should be turned out of office at the very next opportunity, if they cannot be recalled sooner.
Until the next election or recall drive they are just the Retarded Politicians of the Week.
P.S. Washington residents: Write to your legislators. I just did, and I am going to post their replies alongside my letters to them on the door of my office.

Retarded Politician of the Week
State Representative Sue Tibbs, R-OK.
Oklahoma state representative Sue Tibbs has sponsored a law that took effect November 1, 2009 which makes it a felony for a person to fortify his or her home. The law's stated effect is to penalize those who impede law enforcement's ability to get into a home or harm a law enforcement officer when drug activity is taking place in the home.
Here is the text of the law:
A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 540C of Title 21, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully fortify an access point into any dwelling, structure, building or other place where a felony offense prohibited by the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act is being committed, or attempted, and the fortification is for the purpose of preventing or delaying entry or access by a law enforcement officer, or to harm or injure a law enforcement officer in the performance of official duties.
B. For purposes of this section, “fortify an access point” means to willfully construct, install, position, use or hold any material or device designed to injure a person upon entry or to strengthen, defend, restrict or obstruct any door, window or other opening into a dwelling, structure, building or other place to any extent beyond the security provided by a commercial alarm system, lock or deadbolt, or a combination of alarm, lock or deadbolt.
C. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections for a term of not more than five (5) years, or by a fine in an amount not exceeding Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2009.
What makes this somewhat retarded is that impeding a law enforcement officer's ability to enter a home already constitutes two other crimes, depending upon the scenario. If a law enforcement officer has probable cause to make an arrest and the perpetrator uses his fortifications to avoid arrest, he is resisting arrest. If the law enforcement officer has an arrest warrant, add obstruction of justice to the charges. If the perpetrator uses his fortifications to harm the law enforcement officer, whether or not there is another crime being committed, look for assault on a law enforcement officer charge or an attempted murder charge (depending on the specific facts). In other words, there are already laws on the books to deal with this.
What makes this law and its sponsor, Representative Tibbs, full-blown retarded is that it gives the jack-booted thugs who wear full-face masks and black outfits without police markings license to arrest, on the pretext of drug activity, any person who fortifies the entrances to his or her home. This is an infringement upon the civil liberties of every Oklahoman, to be forcibly digested along with all the other "it's for your own good" bullshit coming out of the so-called War on Drugs.
While I do not use illegal drugs of any kind, I do not take kindly to being told what I can and cannot do with my property. If I want to fortify my doors and windows, I'm going to do it. In fact, I am going to do it. Nobody should have to give up the right to protect their domicile if they want to smoke a doobie in the privacy of their own home.
Unfortunately, Oklahomans have a lesser right to be secure in their own homes thanks to Retarded Politician Sue Tibbs. Thank God I don't live in Oklahoma.

Retarded Politician of the Week: Newt Gingrich
Newton Leroy Gingrich, just what has happened to you?
You used to be a conservative and the face of conservatism in the Republican party. You once helped stopped the Clinton juggernaut and went on to eloquently define and defend conservatism in the 21st century. I don't know what to make of you now.
First, you start hanging out with perennial racist pig Al Sharpton and warmed-over sixties commie Arne Duncan. Story.
Then you endorse Dede Scozzafava, a Republican in name only, for former Rep. John McHugh's seat in the 23rd district of New York. Despite knowing that Ms. Scozzafava is loaded down with liberal positions and was even endorsed by ACORN affiliate Working Families Party and that she makes former RINO Arlen Specter look like John Birch. You went so far as to say about Scozzafava, "Our best chance to put responsible and principled leaders in Washington starts here, with Dede Scozzafava." Story. You did this despite the fact that just about every other principled conservative in the Republican party endorsed Conservative Party Candidate Doug Hoffman. Apparently they could see what you could not.
After Ms. Scozzafava realized that she could not win against a true conservative such as Mr. Hoffman, and that she was in fact indistinguishible from the Democrat in the race, Ms. Scozzafava "suspended" her campaign. Then she showed the true colors which were visible to every other conservative in the country, except for you Mr. Gingrich. Ms. Scozzafava then endorsed the Democrat whose positions and whose associations with ACORN were closest to her own. Story.
I hope that you are ashamed of yourself, Mr. Gingrich.
If the Republican party does not take you to the woodshed over this, you should voluntarily go into exile. And give up any hope of running for president in 2012. Conservatives in this country don't need you.

Retarded Politician of the Week

The Dishonorable Hank Johnson, D(what else?)-GA is retarded politician of the week.
Retard Johnson opined that if the House of Unrepresentatives failed to rebuke the Honorable Joe Wilson, R-SC for yelling out, "You lie!" to Comrade Obama last week, people will don "white hoods and ride through the countryside". Of course, the suggestion was that calling the Obamessiah a liar is tantamount to racism. One must not criticize The One!
Johnson, who is of course a member of the Congressional Racist Caucus....ahem, the Congressional Black Caucus, was more fully quoted as saying, "He did not help the cause of diversity and tolerance with his remarks -- if I were a betting man I would say it instigated more racist sentiment," Johnson said Tuesday. "And so I guess we'll probably have folks putting on white hoods and white uniforms again and riding through the countryside intimidating people. ... That's the logical conclusion if this kind of attitude is not rebuked, and Congressman Wilson represents it. He's the face of it."
So that's what it boils down to: Oppose Czar Obamanov and you are a racist. Gee, I thought the Kool Aid drinkers had voted us into a post-racial era. I guess it takes a retard like Hank Johnson to set the record straight.

Retarded Politician of the Week
Rep. Charles Rangel D-NY.
Ole Charlie forgot to tell the public that he had between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 in a checking account, three land parcels in New Jersey, and stock in PepsiCo worth up to $50,000.00. These assets did not make their way into his 2007 public disclosure forms.
This after forgetting about income from rental property in a villa in the Dominican Republic in previous filings. Not to mention forgetting to pay taxes on the income.
I guess it must have all got lost in the sofa cushions. Or maybe Treasury Secretary Tim "Turbo Taxcheat" Geithner was doing his taxes. Or maybe Charlie spent too much time hanging out with former Rep. William "Cold Cash" Jefferson, D-LA.
Rangel's revised net worth is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,500,000.00 according to the deliberately and legally vague disclosure forms. Quite a haul for a guy who, according to Wikipedia, made little money before becoming a public servant.
One could make the argument that Rangel is out-and-out dishonest. Or at age 79 that he is senile. I'll settle for Retarded.

Retarded Politician of the Week
Congressman James Clyburn, D-SC
Congressman Clyburn, typical left-wing lunatic, has compared town hall meeting protesters to racist Southern officials, also likely Democrats, during the 1960's.
Let's see, comparing concerned citizens, expressing themselves over a policy that will likely bankrupt the nation, to Bull Connor. What idiocy!
The quote that propelled Clyburn to victory as Retarded Politician of the Week was his comparison of the protected 1st Amendment speech and assembly rights of citizens to the racist 1960's officials who assaulted protesters: "This is all about activity — trying to deny the establishment of a civil right."
Memo to Clyburn: The Government does not have civil rights. Only individual citizens have civil rights. Citizens as in the protesters who care enough about their country to show up and speak up.
Clyburn = Dumbshit.
Close runner-up: Congressman John Dingell (or is that Dingbat?) D-MI, who compared town hall protesters to members of the Ku Klux Klan.
Story here.

Retarded Politician of the Week
Lindsey Graham, Republican Senator from South Carolina.
Here is another turd RINO who should be purged before he gets to pull an Arlen Specter on us. Just as we should have tossed Specter onto the ash heap of history thirty years ago, we should have tossed Lindsey Graham some time ago. Now he makes it all too clear that someone with genuine conservative credentials should run against him in the next Republican primary. Since that will be in 2012, I suggest that the good people of South Carolina recall him right now.
From his participation in the "Gang of 14" to his collaboration with McCain and Teddy "Water Hazard" Kennedy on immigration "reform", I have been more than a little irked with Graham over the past few years. His recent decision to vote for the confirmation of racist, anti-gun pig Sonia Sotomayor is over the top. I don't know whether Graham is playing his old, "go along to get along" game with the Democraps, but his decision is a betrayal to conservatives and libertarians everywhere.
I know that there are four other Republican Senators who have announced their support for Sotomayor. Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe are no surprise, they have been RINOs since day one, and I have previously suggested that they are the equivalent of Arlen Specter. Sen. Mel Martinez was also an automatic vote for Sotomayor, a Latino has to stand up for a Latina, even if she is a racist and is not wise. Sen. Richard Lugar is just senile as far as I can figure, or just doesn't have any fight left in him.
Sotomayor has a proven record as a racist, having headed the legal department of a racist organization. She is also anti-gun and anti-self defense, having gone "on the record" to state that she believes that the 2nd Amendment does not apply to the states, citing a nineteenth century Supreme Court decision. That same cited decision was from an era when the 1st Amendment was ruled not to apply to the states, and has been clearly superseded by Supreme Court decisons of the 20th Century. Shows how far Sotomayor will go to cite outdated law to support her liberal agends. And Sotomayor said recently that there is no Constitutional right of self-defense. Like all true-blue liberals, she believes we should just lie down and bleed in the gutter, 'cuz gub'mint knows best.
Back to Lindsey Graham. His decision to vote for confirmation of Sotomayor, the worst kind of liberal, identity politics, reverse-racist pig, is a betrayal of his party and his constituency. Graham states that he "hopes Democrats will offer future conservative nominees and presidents the same deference that he's showing" (from Real Clear Politics). Note to Senator Graham: How many times are you going to bend over and take it before your realize that the Democraps will never play nice with you? Pack up your Barbie doll and go home!
The State of South Carolina deserves better than Lindsey Graham. For now he is just Retarded Politician of the Week.
Retarded Politician of the Week
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.
Retarded Politician of the Week honors go to Barack Hussein Obama, leader of the New National Socialist Party and President of the Kool-Aid Drinkers. Obama could actually be stupid politician of the millenium, but there is so much material on this guy that he should be up for consideration every week.
Obama, upon visiting the continent where he was born, last week called for the history of slavery in America to be taught "in a meaningful way", presumably adding to the liberal indoctrination already going on. Read the Newsmax story here.
I am not old, but I remember being taught U.S. history in public schools in the 1970's and 1980's, and we were definitely taught as part of that history that Africans were enslaved in Africa by Africans and sold to slave traders who brought said African slaves to the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and North America (including the British Colonies which became the United States). In no way was slavery presented as something to be proud of in our history, but it was not taught with a heaping helping of "white guilt". Of course, most of my childhood was spent in the great state of Alaska, not known to be as liberal or self-loathing as a number of the "lower 48" states.
Leave it to a non-American like Obama to pass judgment on the society I grew up in. I can only surmise that Obama believes that not enough "white guilt" has been included in the teaching of slavery. After all, this is the same clown who said in his 1995 book that, if it came to war between the U.S. and the Muslims, he would side with the Muslims. This is just another attempt to be divisive for political gain, just like the class warfare that the New National Socialists have been playing for decades. Blame a bunch of people who have never owned slaves and whose ancestors likely never owned slaves to curry favor with people who have never been slaves. My thoughts: Grow up and get over it.
It amazes me that anybody at all thinks that Obama has what it takes to lead this country, when the dork can't even produce an actual certified copy of his actual birth certificate.

Retarded Politician of the Week
The Dishonorable Arlen Specter, Senator from Pennsylvania.
The Republican party should have drop-kicked this RINO turd years ago. He is an example of everything that is wrong in the Republicans party: no loyalty, no adherence to conservative principles, big-spender, soft on Constitutional rights. And did I mention no loyalty?
Senator Specter is expected to announce today that he is switching parties to become a Democrat. My guess is that this is only a formality, since Specter has essentially been a Democrat in practice for decades. I still cannot believe that Bushwhacker 43 supported Specter against legitimate conservative Pat Toomey in 2004, especially when Specter would not help with appointment of conservative judges to the Supreme Court.
Getting rid of Specter in 2010 should be a priority for conservatives. It should have been a priority in 1998 and 2004. Specter should at least have had the decency to continue to caucus with the party that elected him in 2004, but he is too much of a turd to be loyal to those who elected him. So, another vote goes to the Democrats and their out of control socialist agenda and disrespect for 2nd Amendment rights. Now they might have the votes needed to shut out conservatives and finish their shafting of the American public.
One can only hope that those other two turds in the punchbowl, RINO Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine, will have the decency to not seek reelection or formally associate themselves with Democrats. For now, Arlen Specter is Retarded Politician of the Week.

Retarded Politician of the Week

Janet Napolitano
Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, is the recipient of the dubious honor of being Nairb's Retarded Politician of the Week.
Ms. Napolitano presides over the Department of Homeland Security, that federal agency charged with keeping us safe. "Safe from whom?" you might rightly ask. Well, apparently from those among us who are anti-abortion, pro-gun, anti-illegal immigration, dissatisfied with the corpus ingens that is our federal government, or are otherwise believers in limited government. This is evident from the DHS report (thanks, FreedomAlliance.org) labelling those of us who have such views as "extremists" to be watched. Ms. Napolitano has refused to apologize for this slander of a large percentage of American citizens or to withdraw the report.
Meanwhile, Ms. Napolitano and her cabal of extremist hunters have neglected the following threats to Americans:
ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. This group has been involved in: organizing harassment of AIG executives in Connecticut, disrupting Federal Reserve hearings, invading closed city council hearing in Chicago, storming another Chicago city council meeting, sending busloads of protesters to intimidate the mayor of Baltimore and his family. This is just the tip of the iceberg, the result of less than sixty seconds of Google searching.
Illegal immigration. Whether just migrants looking for work, drug traffickers, or islamic terrorists, DHS apparently is turning a blind eye to threats at the border. To DHS, a redneck with a shotgun is more of a threat than an islamic whack-job who wants to kill us all in the name of the Moon God and crosses freely over the border with Mexico. Not real enough? How about the quantifiable violence in American border states due to Mexican drug cartels? Again, Napolitano is more interested in the shotgun-toting redneck. Heck, Ms. Napolitano just told us that illegally entering the U.S. is not a crime. Read it here.
Domestic Jihadists. Islamic extremist groups have set up training camps across the U.S. These camps, in which hatred for the U.S. is preached alongside Islamic ideology, exist in fifteen states. Many of these are highly armed compounds. The Christian Action Network has released a DVD Homegrown Jihad on the subject, available here. What is Ms. Napolitano doing about this threat to America? Focusing on "right-wing extremists".
Street Gangs. Crips, Bloods, Mara Salvatrucha, Vice Lords, Gangster Disciples, Latin Kings, Nortenos, etc. Need I say more? Every state has an infestation of street gangs which correlates with gang violence. Street gangs have also infiltrated the military to learn tactics for offensive use against law enforcement. Street gangs are probably the biggest threat to domestic security, yet Ms. Napolitano again focuses on "right-wing extremists".
I submit that Ms. Napolitano, who coincidentally bears a resemblance to another Janet famous for attacking "right-wing extremists", former Clintonista Attorney General Janet Reno, has a political motive for her obsession with "right-wing extremists". "Right-wing extremists" will likely never be accused of voting Democratic, while members of ACORN, illegal immigrants, homegrown Islamic whackos, and minorities involved in street gangs can reliably be counted on to support anything that the Second Carter Administration of Braaaack Obummer wants. It is a safe political move to attack those of us who do not agree with the Obummer Socialist Steamroller.
Congratulations, Secretary Napolitano. You are the Retarded Politician of the Week.

Retarded Politician of the Week
It's early in the week, but some nut-jobs get to the head of the pack early on. Case in point, Senator John "Citizen Kohn" Kerry, D-People's Republic of Massachusetts, who can't open his mouth without crap coming out.
Citizen Kohn can't seem to bring himself to protect American citizens from Mexican drug violence spilling into the U.S. He says that calling out the National Guard to protect the U.S. side of the border is "premature and possibly counterproductive". Translation: The National Guard might prevent new Democratic voters from entering the U.S.
While leaving U.S. citizens to the tender mercies of Mexican drug gangs, Citizen Kohn nonetheless is ready to attack what he sees as the problem. What does Citizen Kohn propose? He wants to ban guns. But not in Mexico, where the problem actually has taken root. Citizen Kohn wants to ban guns in the United States. He again wants to ban what he has again misnamed "assault rifles."
Nevermind that "assault rifles" are full-auto or selective fire and are illegal in the U.S. except for specially licensed firearms owned or manufactured prior to the aptly misnamed Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986. Nevermind the fact that very few firearms confiscated in Mexico are from the U.S. Nevermind the fact that any true "assault rifles" which actually made their way from the U.S. to Mexico were most likely provided by the U.S. government to the Mexican government and later stolen. Nevermind the fact that Mexico is a sovereign state with its own military and law enforcement which should be handling its own internal problems. Nevermind the fact that Mexico has one of the most stringent gun-control schemes in the Western Hemisphere, yet gun violence goes on unabated. Nevermind the fact that the U.S. government refuses to honor its own laws to control border crossings and provide effective enforcement of immigration laws. Nevermind the fact that law-abiding gun owners are not the problem but would be abandoned and left defenseless by the likes of Citizen Kohn and his gun-grabbing cohorts.
Here's the story that pushed Citizen Kohn to the top.
It is early, but Senator John "Citizen Kohn" Kerry, D-People's Republic of Massachusetts, has clinched the dubious honor of Retarded Politician of the Week.
